I work with photographs to articulate my personal projects. I have a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, I specialised in advertising and architectural photography at the IDEP school and I began my first artistic projects as part of the Master’s programme in Media Art and Culture, also at the University of Barcelona. With a background closely linked to landscape and architecture photography, my work explores the boundaries where singular relationships are established between the elements found there and the occupants of these sites. Wandering to discover my immediate surroundings and seeking the extraordinary in the ordinary are essential to my work.
For several years now, I have worked as both a freelance photographer and a teacher while pursuing my own photography projects, exhibiting in venues such as the Kowasa Gallery, the Centre Cultural la Mercè and the Casa de Cultura in Girona. I have also won several awards and grants like Rodalies 4, the Olot Landscape Photography Grant and the Agita Grant of Figueres. My photographs have been acquired by the Casa de Cultura de Girona for its collection and published in various advertising campaigns, books and media outlets. I am a founding member and president of the Binari Cultural Association for the promotion of contemporary culture and art.
